Being such a popular summer destination, parking in Lymington can be limited during the summer. Due to this, we advise everyone to think about how your car could be left at home if possible.

Walk or Cycle

Whether it’s a gentle stroll, getting on your bikes or letting the train take the strain, we’d like to suggest some alternatives. If you are able to cycle then there is a large bike rack in the Bath Road carpark next to the festival site, as well as additional bike racks put out for the weekend, so you can secure your bike whilst you enjoy the day.

Train

On the train, Lymington Town station is your closest stop, as this will drop you at the bottom of the high street where a short walk along the quayside will bring you to the festival site at Bath Road. The train from Brockenhurst takes 8 mins and runs every half an hour across the weekend. See South West Trains for times. Additional carriages will be laid on over the weekend as they know we are going to be busy!

Bus

Alternatively, why not take advantage of the open-top New Forest Tour Bus,  or the Beach Bus which runs from Hythe, through Beaulieu, Exbury and Lepe to Lymington. Or, if you’re heading in from Bournemouth, Christchurch or New Milton, the More Bus is a great option for you to reach the site safely.

Car

We have also managed to arrange a main festival car park this year at Woodside Park lower fields. (Woodside Park, Ridgeway Lane, Lymington SO41 8AA). Here you can park all day for just £5 and it’s a 15-minute stroll from the event site. Rumour has it that popular pub The Fisherman’s Rest is right on route and will be on hand for a quick pit stop to spur you along!

If you do have to come in the car, try and double up with friends and neighbours to car-share – spread the cost as well as save the space.

However you’re planning on reaching us, we look forward to welcoming you for what promises to be a fantastic fishy weekend!
