The Lymington Seafood Festival is one of the highlights of the summer social calendar in 2023, bringing friends, family, and visitors together to sample Neptune’s larder and culinary delights. There’s also great live music, entertainment, and superb shopping from the festival’s craft and market stalls.

The Lymington Seafood Festival covers the whole weekend from the 14th – 16th July, which is also one of the best months to visit this super little town. And if you decide to make your visit a short break or holiday, the town is a perfect base to see all the local attractions and spend days swimming and sunbathing on nearby gorgeous sandy beaches. Lymington is also just a few minutes’ drive to the pretty woods, vast heather plains, and wildflower-filled meadows of the New Forest National Park, where a walk to the pub alongside the region’s famous free-roaming ponies is always worth bringing your camera along.

Thinking about where to stay or if you’re a local who would like to invite friends and family to join you – but haven’t the space to host them, there are some great options for accommodation from New Forest Cottages. They have over 70 houses, cottages, apartments, and cabins in Lymington for all budgets, sleeping from 2 – 9 guests. It’s worth bearing in mind that there are plenty of cottages located close to each other, providing a good option for multiple families or groups of friends wishing to holiday together but wanting their own accommodation and space.

Here’s a rundown of just some of the properties available to rent during the Lymington Seafood Festival 2023 – and these are dog-friendly too!
