With a thriving marine industry and culture here in Lymington, we have a whole host of exciting marine businesses coming to the festival that can help you get out onto the water!

SeaJays Solent Sailing School

Based in the heart of the town on Lymington Quay, SeaJays sailing school offers RYA accredited courses, Yacht Charter, RIB rides and Powerboat training. If you’ve always wondered about learning to sail then speak to Fiona and the team. They can tell you all about their two yachts Sea Breeze and Sea Lily, rigged and ready to introduce sailing to their customers.

Beds on Board

If what you need out of a boat is a luxury location to lay your head and a harbour side view, then look no further than the ingenious Beds on Board. Based on the popular AirBnB concept, Beds on board connects boat owners with accommodation seekers looking for unusual places to stay.. For boat owners the site offers a platform to help cover the costs of boat ownership, and for visitors to a waterside location it offers a change from your average hotel. If you still need somewhere to stay for the Lymington Seafood Festival, check out their Lymington beds on board for this August.

Flexisail

FlexiSail offers ‘the ownership experience without buying’… a boat share membership company with bases in Lymington, Hamble, Poole, Ipswich, and even Lefkas in Greece!  Aiming to make sailing more affordable and accessible, FlexiSail pride themselves on the quality of their highly spec’d new or nearly yachts and catamarans and members have none of the financial and time commitment or other downsides of outright ownership.  Only a small group of members have exclusive use of ‘their’ boat, which they treat like their own.

Access to personal mentored RYA training on the member’s ‘own’ FlexiSail boat, and an extensive fun social events programme ranging from rallies in the Solent and across the Channel, to skiing and a flotilla in the Med, all in a supportive environment, is the perfect way to sail on ‘their’ yacht or catamaran.  There is a flexible membership option to suit everyone starting from £370 pcm.

So, whether you want to learn to sail, spend a day (or a night!) on the water, or think about how you can affordably spend more time on your coastal pursuits, the festival offers you the opportunity to find out more.

We look forward to welcoming them, and you, in August 2018!
